We fully expect our current situation regarding Covid to be a long term problem that has and will continue to stress the American Health Care System to the breaking point.
At Highland Urgent Care and Family Medicine we have decided to fully engage this crisis by providing testing and treatment for our community.
We have thoroughly discussed the risk inherent to ourselves and our families, the commitment to our community, and the oath we have taken. I have personally questioned every member of our team, no one has wavered.
We are all in.
Intown Atlanta is our community and we are here to support it. We are medical and we stand with all engaged medical personnel to do our best to support the hospitals. The well being of our nation depends upon this fragile network remaining functional.
We will continue to do our part to provide world class healthcare to our friends and neighbors.
The Covid-19 crisis will be ongoing with rolling outbreaks for at least the next year. We are adapting to face this challenge.
In order to safely manage our patients you are asked:
to call the front desk from the parking lot
identify your problem as respiratory or other.
If you have respiratory symptoms that could require testing or management of Covid-19 infection you will be triaged to a separate entrance with a negative flow room for everyone’s safety. We will perform Covid testing as warranted. All other issues will be addressed by our caring staff in the normal fashion.

Go to the nearest Emergency Room if you are if you are 60+ years old, have underlying medical issues (such as hypertension, heart disease, lung disease, chronic kidney disease, diabetes, or obesity), or are immuno-compromised, and have any of the following symptoms:

Mon-Fri 9:00am – 5:00pm We will no longer be open Saturdays until further notice.
If you are an existing patient of HUCFM and need a refill please make a request through your pharmacy for the refill. The pharmacy will contact us.
